Dear Slinger Baseball Supporter:
The Slinger community has supported baseball for generations. Community Park and the baseball field near the high school have been places where youth and adults have gathered to both play and watch a sport they are fond of. Currently, we have a large youth interest in the sport with over 800 Little League participants signed up to play this year in our in-house program, with another 60+ who we anticipate playing on our 10-14 year old select teams. These numbers have been steadily increasing each year. We are excited to see this as an active feeder program, which will help set a foundation for the high school baseball program’s success.
As the Slinger community has grown so have the needs of the baseball program. With the increased demands on Recreation Department and school district budgets, many of the sports at Slinger have gone towards creating a booster club just for their specific sport. In the interest of creating a more competitive baseball program, a baseball booster club was recently created.
The Slinger On-Base Club Ltd. is a non-profit corporation established to promote, support and improve the Slinger Boy’s Baseball Program. We feel that being a member of this club will be a great way to stay in touch with the program and support Slinger Boy’s Baseball. Membership or sponsorship will help to provide equipment, tournament entry fees, uniforms, offseason practice facility and facility upgrades. Please join us as we work to support the Slinger Baseball Program.
