SLINGER ON BASE CLUB TRYOUTS FOR THE 2027 SEASON!

TRYOUTS WILL BE HELD FROM JULY 14-16th. More information to come on times.

All players are required to try out each year. Each team will participate in the Wisconsin State Youth Baseball League (WSYBL).  We offer a minimum of one team per grade level, however if at least 30 players per grade tryout, a second team may be a possibility. These teams will play a competitive weeknight schedule, playing approximately 10 home games and 10 away games. Each team will also play 3-4 tournaments from late April through July. The 2nd Grade may play fewer games.  Players who make these teams will not play Recreation League Baseball with the Slinger Parks and Recreation Department.  Indoor Practices are held during the winter at our indoor facility in Hartford.

Field location will be Breuer Park

You must be in the grade for which you are trying out for.  No exceptions. While players from outside of Slinger School District may tryout, we will fill teams with players that reside within the district, or attend Slinger Schools first. If we are not able to fill a team with players as noted above, we will consider other players. 

These will be closed tryouts, and spectators are not allowed.
